Q: Can I use my exiting satellite dish for Freesat?
If you previously had Sky, usually the Satellite Dish you have installed will work for Freesat. They use the same signals which means that no adjustments should need to be made, you would just need to purchase a suitable Freesat Box and TV and you’ll be up and running.
Q: I have no signal on my Freesat Box, can you help?
Extreme weather conditions (such as driving rain, strong winds or snow) can affect the satellite signal.
In the event of calm weather and your Freesat Box or TV reporting no signal, there are a few steps you can take to try and resolve it:
First, make sure all the connections at the back of the box/TV to the dish are securely tightened; then try doing a channel scan, or first time install to see if this restores any lost channels.
In the event that this doesn’t resolve the issue, there may be a problem with either the alignment of the dish, or some interference in the LNB (the protrusion at the end of the dish that the wires connect to). Give us a call on 01276 473800 and we’ll be able to advise on next steps and if necessary, organise for one of our Engineers to visit and conduct some diagnosis on your Satellite Dish.
Q: Getting a TV with Freesat built-in
If you are in the market for a new TV, why not look at purchasing one with built in Freesat. This will eliminate the need to install additional recievers and you will still be able to access over 200 TV and Radio channels.
Q: Arranging a Freesat Installation
Its great news that you’re looking for a Freesat Dish installation, this means you still get hundreds of TV and Radio channels all without the hassle of a monthly subscription.
Firstly, contact one of our friendly office team and they will be able to assist you with any immediate questions before proceeding. We will then offer you a rough idea of the installation price and arrange for an Engineer to visit and conduct a Free Site Survey. This means that a local and qualified Engineer will attend your property, at a time convenient for yourself and provide you with a fixed written quotation.
Once you accept the quotation, we will organise a date to carry out the works and will ensure to tune in all TV’s upon completion, its that simple.
Q: Can I use Freesat alongside Sky?
Great news, if you already have an existing Satellite Dish feeding a Sky setup but for whatever reason you do not wish to have multiple Sky subscriptions Freesat is a great alternative.
You may require additional cabling or the LNB on the dish may require upgrading to enable additional outputs.

Q: What kind of warranty do you offer?
Great news, we offer at least a 12 Month Warranty on all installation or upgrades. Were necessary we are also able to offer a 24 month warranty so you know you’re always covered. All materials/equipment that we supply comes with its own 12 Month Manufactures Warranty, unless otherwise stated. *we are not able to offer coverage for an third party interference or weather damage.
Q: Is your work guaranteed?
Yes, we carry £2 Million public liability and £10 Million public liability to ensure that both you and us are covered. This is available to view upon request.
