If you already have an existing TV Aerial you may not need to install a new one.

• Check your aerial – Firstly we would advise you to check your aerial visually. Make sure your aerial is in good condition and connected to the aerial point in your living room. The aerial lead must be securely plugged into the socket in the back of your Freeview TV or recorder. It’s likely that your existing aerial will work, as long as it’s not out of position or damaged by the weather. Go outside and check that your aerial is pointing in the same direction as others nearby.
• Poor signal or missing channels – If your picture quality is poor or some channels just don’t work at all, this may indicate that either a new aerial is required or an upgrade within the existing system is needed. We would arrange for an Engineer to visit and conduct a Diagnosis visit to find the fault and repair or replace as necessary.

Freeview offers over 70 TV Channels, 15 HD Channels and more that 30 Radio Stations with no monthly cost.

The great thing about Freeview is that is has no monthly cost, so you can get the benefit of the the TV shows for FREE.

All you will need is either a TV with built in Freeview or a Freeview receiver, these can be purchased for most local appliance stores or direct on the Freeview website.

Missing channels is a very common problem however there are a few simple steps you can do before contacting us.

Check the coverage in your area to ensure there are no current issues, and that the channels you are missing are usually available where you live. If this all seems to be fine, try a simple retune of your TV or Receiver.

If this still has not resolved the issue do a simple visual check of your system. Ensure your TV Aerial is pointing in the same direction as your neighbours, and has no physical damage that you can see. Make sure the cable is correctly connected to your TV or receiver.
